This service care provider works with residential care who provide a range of care from infancy to elderly.
This care provider seek to provide high quality residential living for the elderly residents. Due to expansion they are looking for a forward thinking home manager to be part of a lovely care setting.


To act as the person in charge of the home in the absence of the Manager
To provide the highest level of personal care and attention to residents following individual care plans
Responsible for understanding and complying with statutory and legal requirements relevant throughout the home, including HACCP, COSHH, Health and Safety, all aspects of the Health & Social Care Act
To participate in the formulation of individual care plans for each resident and administer medication to residents as prescribed, accurately maintaining appropriate records for both
To always be alert to residents physical and mental wellbeing, immediately dealing with and reporting any changes in a resident's condition. Liaising with other care professionals as required, and ensuring that all records are updated accurately.
To be an active and encouraging senior member of the Care team, responsible for running team meetings, ensuring good communication and leading the induction and training of newly appointed care assistants

Candidate Skills:

Excellent communication skills
Accounts and budgeting skills
Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a caring environment
Minimum of 2 years supervisory management experience
Experience leading, developing and motivating a team
NVQ in Health & Social Care (Level 3) in Care
A good understanding and knowledge of current legislation and CQC requirements
Enhanced DBS – Desirable
Driver – Desirable

Salary & Benefits

£20,000 - £24,000 (Dependent on Experience)
