My client is an independent medical education agency delivering high quality educational programs with a focus on outstanding service to their clients. Due to continued success, they are seeking an Account Manager / Senior Account Manager to join their London office.

You will provide a pivotal link between the clients and internal teams on all aspects of project delivery. You will take day to day responsibility for assigned global accounts, including budgeting and reconciliation, to ensure the smooth delivery of communication programs.

- Day to day responsibility for assigned accounts to ensure that all clients obtain high quality items within the specified time scales and allocated budget
- Liaising and developing lasting relationships with clients and faculty, to become the primary point of contact, as well as developing effective supplier relationships
- Leading client meetings and teleconferences as well as attending face to face client meetings, ad boards and symposia
- Developing and tracking of project status and timelines in order to provide regular updates to internal and external teams
- Responsibility for financial aspects of the account including developing and monitoring bespoke budgets and proposals as well as tracking profitability of projects
- Trouble shooting challenges and issues in a timely and effective manner
- Line management and mentorship of junior team members

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Life science degree
- Previous account management experience gained in a medical communications / education industry
- Client orientated with excellent rapport building skills along with an enthusiasm for providing the best service possible
- Good communication skills
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Team player
