Are you a qualified Carpenter with experience in Domestic Maintenance? Can turn your hand to other trades? This could be the ideal job for you. You will be working in the Swindon area, the job offers up to £16 per hour.

The Company

The company are a national service provider, who have recently won tenders for various housing associations. Due to this newly acquired work load, they are looking for skilled tradesmen to join their team.

The Contract

You will be working in different locations on a daily basis in and around the Swindon area. You should be experienced in planned and void maintenance in social housing.

The main duties will include:

  • Kitchen Fit Outs
  • 2nd Fix Carpentry
  • Hanging doors
  • Skirting and Architraves
  • It would be beneficial if you can turn your hand to: Minor Plumbing, Tiling or Patch Plastering

The company work 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:30, with half an hour for lunch.

Initially the contract is set as a temporary period of 3 months, but will result in a full time position for the ideal candidate.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Housing Associations or Councils.

You will require:

  • Van
  • Tools
  • CSCS Card
  • City & Guilds
  • Asbestos Awareness
