Established in 1946 in the optical industry, we have been providing quality eyeglasses, cases and accessories for many years on an international scale. We have developed an innovative design style; leading the way in the optical accessories market. We provide a range of quality products to the optical market including glasses cases, spectacle cases, accessories, bags and display stands.

Due to recent expansion, Optoploast Actman Eyewear are looking to recruit an Account Executive to join our team in Maghull, Liverpool. This role would be a fantastic opportunity for someone who has either recently graduated, or who is looking for the next step in their career.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within an ambitious team, gain key account and top four-grocer experience, whilst developing key skills required for career growth to key account management roles.

The role involves providing administrative support to the Head of Business Development and working alongside the wider sales team on a day-to-day basis. You will be required to attend group sales meetings to take minutes, formalise meeting minutes/action points and distribute to relative parties. In addition to this, you will liaise directly with customers and prospective customers and have interaction with the sales cycle within the business. This will include preparing contact reports and issuing status and budget reports, liaising with suppliers to check on the progress of existing orders and ensuring there is a smooth and efficient running of the day-to-day account activity.

In order to succeed in this role you must be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication and time management skills. Attention to detail is essential whilst working in this fast paced environment with an analytical approach with regards to working with figures and data. An ability to be able to adapt quickly and to have a positive attitude is vital.

You should be educated to degree level or equivalent, and it is essential that you have an excellent telephone manner with good MS Office skills. You should also have a full clean driving licence and be flexible with your work with a willingness to travel to visit customers when required.
