£25,000 - £40,000 ( depending on experience)We are looking to recruit a SQL & SAS Analyst to ensure processes are executed in line with SLAs and new KPIs/reconciliations are developed and reported accurately. Resolving queries and data issues with the Bank and key StakeholdersKey Accountabilities and Responsibilities:· Scheduled delivery of RDA KPIs and consistency reconciliations to meet customer needs· Design and development of KPIs using SAS to meet customer needs· Become a SME for source and golden source systems· Investigate and provide explanation of KPI fails and reconciliation variances· Work in line with internal control and governance practice· Awareness and understanding of business impact of RDA and criticality on operation for any related failures.· Work with the business to understand requirements and implement future controls· Undertake maintenance and improve existing processes that are in place within agreed SLAs to minimise operational & cost impact.· Ensure all controls are tested and fully rolled out to enable maximum benefit· To update KPIs as source is migrated into lake.· To build new KPIs as required.Knowledge· Proficiency in SQL and SAS is essential· Strong experience in using Microsoft Office Applications including Excel (inc. Pivot tables & formula’s), PowerPoint is essential· Retail/Corporate banking experience is essential· Minimum of basic understanding of banking products such loans, mortgages, current and savings accounts· Understanding of finance reporting requirements within the Banking industry· A good understanding of the role that data quality can play in a business and the ‘need to get it right’· Knowledge of MI system best practises (mappings \ structures \ controls \ etc.)Due to the nature of the role, all candidates must be able to pass a credit check and provide satisfactory references.
