SALARY: £17,000 - £20,000 per annum

TYPE: 12 Month Full Time Contract


JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Marketing Assistant / Administrator that has excellent administrative, organisational, time-management and communication skills.

Working as the Marketing Assistant / Administrator you will provide administrative support to the Marketing function and wider Commercial Team.

As the Marketing Assistant / Administrator you will have a wide range of duties from booking and support coordinating events and exhibitions, managing office stationary and supplies, reporting and updating records, assist in campaigns, filing and document management etc.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as the Marketing Assistant / Administrator:

• Leading event and exhibition co-ordination, including the booking, facilitation and ‘check-list’, working closely with the team to deliver event support

• Stock control, monitoring and replenishment of stock to meet business requirements

• External market research, encompassing competitor analysis reporting

• Maintenance of marketing work log, responding to requests and query management

• Supporting the Marketing Campaigns Managers and Executives with the preparation of marketing campaigns including eCampaigns, offline templates and mail merge files

• Preparation of branded material including product & service marketing collateral to meet business requirements, templates, stationery, promotional items, signage etc.

• Overseeing marketing library/suite of documents ensuring all documents are up to date and relevant; and folders/files are maintained and stored in professional format

• Website updates and maintenance

• Co-ordination of photography shoots where necessary

• Day-to-day administration, involving email, MS Word correspondence, call handling to support the function

• Supplier liaison (Printers, designers etc.)

• Procurement management, preparation and collation of purchase orders and maintenance of the Proactis system and monitoring of budgetary expenditure

• Opening and distribution of post, collation of external post ensuring effective delivery of items

• General office duties to include but not limited to copying and preparing documents, office supply management and other clerical duties

• Other ad hoc administrative duties in line with business requirements


IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent communication/listening skills

• Excellent customer service, interpersonal skills

• Detail oriented

• Good knowledge of information technology especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

• Administrative skills, i.e. typing, co-ordination of management reports

• Knowledge of billing functions of computer system and accounting principles

• Ability to learn Company’s computer software program, understand business operation and each function on overall operation

• Ability to work without supervision

• Self-motivated, reliable and enthusiastic

• A team player, able to work effectively under pressure

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise in an environment
