Quality Supervisor
Reporting to: Quality Manager
Location

  • Greypoint - Cardiff, CF14 5WF.

Package

  • Salary - £25,000 gross per annum.
  • KPI Bonus

  • Holiday, 23 - 28 days holiday (Increasing with service), 9 Bank Holidays.

Hours of Work

  • 37.5 Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00am - 5.00pm, as required to meet the needs of the business with a half hour unpaid lunch break.
  • From time to time, the candidate will need to be flexible with working hours and may need to travel away from home to attend training or for business.

Job Objective:

  • Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Supervisor will be responsible for the day to day supervision of the incoming inspection department, including inspection of Raw Materials, Intermediates and Finished Goods.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in inspection of Surgical Instruments.
  • Carry out incoming goods inspection of raw materials and Intermediates as required.
  • Coordinate the customer complaints process, including the investigation and report completion.
  • Liaise with other departments to investigate, analyse and improve customer complaint issues.
  • Coordinate and conduct internal audits against ISO 13485.
  • Carry out monthly quality inspections of the cleanroom and moulding shop.
  • Support the cleanroom in ensuring all relevant standards are maintained.
  • Assist in other process improvement initiatives as required.
  • Produce monthly analysis of complaints, identifying trends and associated actions.
  • Produce specific complaint reports as and when requested.
  • Assist in other quality department tasks as and when required.
  • Assist in regulatory compliance, including but not limited to Technical Files.
  • Monthly reporting of KPI's.
  • Manage the quarantine function, including the analysis, reporting, storage and movement of quarantine.
  • Review of product batch paperwork in preparation for batch release.
  • Processing of new products and control plans.
  • Assist in other quality department tasks as and when required.
  • In the absence of and when required support the QA Manager.
  • Any other duties as and when required to meet business needs.
