Grafton Banks is currently working with a well respected commercial company with offices in Brighton to recruit for an Accounts Assistant. Reporting into the Finance Manager on a day to day basis you will be responsible for processing credit card receipts, reconciling sales receipts and purchase ledger receipts. You will also manage interest payments on bank loans as well as running CHAP payments, undertaking bank reconciliations and any other ad-hoc accounts administration duties as and when they arise. The successful candidate will have proven experience of working in an accounts function with excellent communication skills, organisational skills and computer skills including Excel. It is essential that you are able to drive and have a car to get to the office. This is initially a temporary job with the view to go permanent. Due to the initial interim nature, candidates available at short notice will take preference.
