Marketing Communications Associate - Liverpool - £23-26,000 pa

Our client, a leading specialist engineering company based in Liverpool, is currently looking for a Marketing Communications Associate to join their team. This is a key role, supporting the international marketing function, and a core position for both internal and external communications.

Responsibilities:

Client Communications

- Production of press releases and case studies
- Provide support in developing marketing literature.
- The key role in the creation of online content both website and social media.
- Manage the communication of news, events and developments across the company
- Co-ordination of marketing communications function internally
- Working closely with the marketing executive to support exhibitions and internal events

Internal Communications

- Development of company intranet
- Production of segmentally targeted internal bulletin/news letter
- Design and develop marketing materials

The Candidate

Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills

- Strong IT skills -Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word and Excel in particular.
- Understanding of internet marketing.
- Numeracy skills to facilitate technical evaluations and market assessments

Recruitment and Succession Requirements:

Essential

- A-Level standard of education.
- Willingness to gain CIM marketing qualification

Desirable

- Engineering, relevant science or technical background
- CIM Diploma/Degree in marketing/business or technical subject
- BEng

The Rewards

Salary: £23-26,000 pa

Employee benefits include 25 days holiday, Death in Service (3 x salary), PHI, Contributory Pension Scheme (the Company will match up to 5% of the employee's salary)

Hours of Work 37.5 (8.30 to 17:00)
