Internal Sales Engineer

Carbon60 are currently working with an interesting engineering business who are seeking an Internal Sales Engineer to join their growing team in Cheshire.

The Internal Sales Engineer will support all sales activity including visiting clients, preparing quotes and processing sales orders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare quotations for customers and process sales orders
  • Ensure all customer requirements and specifications are met
  • Prepare Functional Design Specifications as well as any other supporting documentation to progress orders through to design and manufacture
  • Maintain customer relationships at all times and give technical advice/guidance to create effective solutions
  • Seek out opportunities for further growth and sales
Desired Characteristics
  • BTEC/HNC/Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience/qualification
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Customer focused
  • Experience with processing sales orders and preparing quotations
  • Control panel design, assembly or wiring experience would be beneficial
  • Exposure to PLC/SCADA/Telemetry/HMI/VSD/Soft Start Technology would be beneficial
