Cicero's key client based in Oxfordshire is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer on either a permanent or a contract basisto join a fast growing automotive company.

Key Responsibilities

- Responsible for the manufacturing element of new product introduction.
- Play a key role in developing, monitoring and introducing new products together with evaluating overall performance of the product in meeting and exceeding the anticipated cycle time.
- Initial feasibility stage, process definition, BOM support, tooling sequence and quotation, assembly fixtures and any capital expenditure, as applicable.
- Provide useful knowledge and data to help make better decisions on equipment and processes for the manufacture.
- Interact effectively with other parts of the company, be viewed as a trusted business colleague
- To work with the Production team to support the initial ramp up of manufacture to include creation of work instructions, tooling sign off, machinery sign off, run at rate and tool tagging

Key Skills

- A professional background in the Automotive industry
- Background in fast paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience of new product Introduction (NPI)
- Experience liaising and co-coordinating with engineering, Quality and commercial teams.
- Experience in working within and improving existing work practice and procedures surrounding quality (TS16949) and Environmental (ISO14001) systems.
