Are you a Senior Project Manager residing along the M4 corridor?

Would you like to work on large-scale regeneration schemes?

If you answer yes to the above and you are able to tie infrastructure to housing - please keep reading.

Thatcher Associates are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager who is well accustomed to infrastructure design for residential and mixed use projects. This is a newly released opportunity with a leading strategic developer, covering schemes in the South West and South East area.

Depending on your home location, you are able to work from the SW or SE office. Two major projects are in the SW area with another confirmed in the East Midlands area.

About the role:
My client understands this is a niche role and is keen to meet with professionals from a varied background. The main purpose of this role is to prepare and service land parcels for the internal use of the company whilst project managing the site delivery (utilities and infrastructure). This role is delivery focused, with emphasis on:

- Obtaining all specialist reports
- Prepare reports to support site acquisition
- Discharge planning conditions
- Ability to interpret contracts (Local Authority adoption agreement, building contracts etc)
- Ability to devise development programmes
- Delivering financial appraisals and maintaining cost records.

You will manage two strategic sites and will work closely with the strategic land and technical consultants within the specialist strategic division of this company.

About you:
It is expected you will have project management experience with an educational grounding in either Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Development or similar. As the Senior Project Manager will be leading large infrastructure developments, therefore you will need to demonstrate examples of this on your application. Site based experience is desirable but not essential.

If you`re currently working for an engineering consultancy and looking to step across into a front end role, then as long as you have knowledge and appreciation of the development process you are strongly encouraged to apply for this opportunity. Knowledge of Building Regulations, Health and Safety and design specification standards is expected.

What`s the next step?

If you possess the above skills and passion for the development process, whilst carrying out a role as a Technical Manager, Civil Engineer or Project Manager then please upload your CV to the details provided.
