Are you a confident, determined, approachable individual with experience in revenue/sales administration? Our Guildford based client, specialising in providing bespoke IT software solutions is seeking a Bid Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience within a similar role, sales reporting, a confident business approach and have excellent communication skills.


  • Working with sales and presales to ensure accurate and sufficient information is included in bids
  • Attend quote clinic to minute actions and / or queries
  • Chase resolution of queries and completion of actions
  • Manage input from all departments including presales, sales, product and operations to ensure timely bid submission
  • Check accuracy of bid proposals before submission to client
  • Ensure compliance with rate card
  • Work with Sales Team to manage timelines of bids through to sales close
  • Provide information for resource planning meeting
  • Working alongside the Commercial Manager on implementation of new sales process
  • Contract admin
  • Sales pipeline reporting
  • Volumes reporting
  • Assisting with KPI calculations and preparation of board slides
  • Keeping all Excel spreadsheets and the CRM system up to date and accurate

Experience Required / Personal Qualities:

  • Experience within a similar role (ideal)
  • Experience of sales reporting
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, primarily PowerPoint and Excel
  • Knowledge of CRM systems
  • Experience of minute taking
