Senior Research Radiographer
The University is seeking an experienced MR radiographer to join its Imaging Facilities at a time of growth. The Imaging Facilities houses three research dedicated MRI scanners located across the city of Manchester, 2 PET cameras and the North West's first PET-MR scanner.
The main body of work is neuro, cancer, cardiac and musculo-skeletal research imaging. A good knowledge of MRI sequences and applications and how to adapt them will be needed, in addition to good computer skills and understanding of Good Clinical Practice. There is some clinical commitment but the main emphasis is research scanning.
You will also be required to rotate across the Imaging Facilities sites to meet scanning demand.
