Are you looking to work in an innovative and exciting team within a leading charity whilst developing your management and fundraising skills?

The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. We are now looking for a Face-to-Face Fundraising Manager to join our team, covering South Devon, East Dorset and Somerset.

There has never been a more exciting time to join the RNLI, where every member of staff plays a vital part in saving lives at sea. You will have the chance to play an important part in developing and growing the RNLI's in-house Face-to-Face Fundraising Team.

As the Face-to-Face Fundraising Manager, you'll manage a team of Face-to-Face Fundraisers, raise long-term funding for the RNLI and increase supporters within your defined geographical area.

You'll focus on generating funds that support our lifesaving service and delivering safety messages to the public. Playing a vital part in reaching local and team income targets, you'll contribute to the RNLI's aim of reducing the amount of preventable drownings by 50% in the UK and Ireland by 2024.

As part of your role, you'll be required to undertake extensive travel throughout South Devon, East Dorset and Somerset.

To be considered, you'll need:

- Fundraising experience, ideally including face-to-face fundraising
- Demonstrable experience of managing and motivating a team of paid staff or volunteers to achieve goals and/or targets
- A full, valid driving licence

Passionate and self-motivated, as the Face-to-Face Fundraising Manager, you will need excellent communication skills. You must also have a creative approach to problem-solving and superb prioritisation abilities.

Project management experience would be beneficial to your application.

Please note, the closing date for applications is 16th April 2017. Interviews are scheduled to be held on 25th and 26th April 2017 in Saltash.

Our staff and volunteers have been saving lives at sea without prejudice for nearly 200 years. We respect and value diversity of background, skills and perspectives within our teams, and consider it essential to help us deliver a world-class lifesaving service. We are an inclusive organisation and welcome applications from everyone. In addition to having the skills needed for the role, we also look for applicants who share our commitment to living our RNLI values (trustworthy, courageous, selfless, and dependable), and helping us work towards our goals of halving drowning in the UK and Ireland by 2024. This involves a growing commitment to preventative action, using our expertise to work in partnership with communities locally, nationally and internationally to prevent drowning.
