Surveyor Contracts Manager

Working within Aviva, one of the largest insurers in the UK, this role requires a dynamic and conscientious individual who can apply their buildings knowledge to manage our Customers insurance claims within the domestic and commercial markets. This requires a good understanding of building pathology combined with specification skills in order to validate and quantify projects. The individual needs to build relationships with key stakeholders including customer’s, clients, brokers and contractors to achieve pro-active project management of insurance buildings and contents claims. This role gives autonomy to individuals managing their own time and allows learning and development within a forward thinking environment.
The ideal candidate will have a building related qualification and/or experience in one or more of the following areas; new build, repair/maintenance or design of traditional and a variety of modern building types. Whilst it would be advantageous to have worked within the insurance claims sector, it is not essential as training will be provided. You will need to bring excellent interpersonal skills, gained in your time working in a customer-focused environment where you took pride in meeting customer needs through your expertise and integrity.
This is a field based role working from home and you will need to reside within easy commute of the following post code areas:
SW – North of Thames
