Our client, a household named financial institution, is focused on delivering a first class service to consumers and businesses worldwide. With their on-going commitment to provide a safe place to complete financial transactions, they have an immediate and exciting opening for a Service Operations Manager to be based South of Manchester.

As a Service Operations Manager, you will be required to:

  • Own the end to end management of highly criticality services
  • Optimise performance and manage high severity incidents
  • Respond to issues, restore services and deliver route cause analysis
  • Ensure SLA’s are in place and met
  • Drive initiatives to reduce incidents, engage technical teams and deliver operational integrity
  • Maintain robust service documentation and change control
  • Lead regular service reviews and supplier agreements

Skills and requirements required for this role include:

  • Sound experience of working in an ITIL process related discipline (ideally service desk, incident management, problem management or service management)
  • Track record of delivering results in Service Management disciplines
  • Ability to lead triage and investigation major incident
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of a broad range of technologies
  • Ability to quickly absorb and assimilate large amounts of technical and business information
  • Integrity, initiative and commitment
  • Able to produce high quality documentation
