Acorn is currently seeking a Market Intelligence Analyst for a market leading manufacturer based in North Bristol.

You will be responsible for sourcing, monitoring, assessing and interpreting Market and Competitive Intelligence from internal and external sources to provide business leaders with a sound basis for strategic decision-making.

Key tasks and responsibilities

- To manage the creation, running and development of Group White Space Acquisition Project. - Full responsibility to build group database view of independent market, setting up monitoring reports and measuring success of project and working alongside each networks
- Senior Directors to ensure rules and compliance are met.
- Maintain a UK Group Market model of volume and value supply. Ensure accurate data is collated from various sources (internal and external) to deliver accurate market intelligence to Country VP and other directors if required.
- To produce various ad-hoc monthly reports for Group networks providing analysis and insight using own initiative
- Manage external relationships and workload with research agencies (negotiating contracts and proposals, setting projects and presenting results to networks and Group Marketing Director) advertising agencies (setting up brand tracking surveys) Industry Consultants (to share market information)
- To manage all areas of Group customer satisfaction studies, including relationship management with external agencies and working with head office on European wide projects. Present tracking and analysis of results to each networks Directors, Sales and Marketing teams
- Work on various Group projects with UK networks and European Marketing as defined by Group Marketing Director

Knowledge / experience required

- Market research and analysis experience
- An appreciation of marketing principles and theories, consumer/market research techniques and company products and market
- Demonstrable experience using data manipulation tools
- Excellent excel and analytical skills
- Organised with good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Confident presenting information to senior colleagues
- Team player able to work on their own initiative within a busy environment
