Primary Teacher role ~ about the school:

This primary school is in a central location and is a short bus ride from New Street Station, there is also a train station close by. The school was judged in 2016 to be a school that 'requires improvement' this was an improvement on the previous Ofsted which declared the school and previous senior leadership team as being inadequate. Subsequent to their negative Ofsted in 2014, the school has been on an upward journey since, hiring new leadership, including a new head teacher and deputy head who are inspirational & forward-thinking. The excellent head teacher is proud of their school and is looking for dedicated & professional primary teachers who can join this vastly improving school and join the cohesive staff team on their journey towards becoming one of the most improved schools in the area by 2018.

What are the school looking for?

You must be a qualified teacher who has QTS and a strong academic background. You will be a resilient and driven primary teacher who has good behaviour management strategies and is able to deliver high-quality teaching to your class. There is a role within both KS1 and KS2 so if you have a preference for a year group, this will be taken in to account for when you join in September.
