Our client, Pensions Provider based in South Liverpool are looking for an experienced Pensions Administrator to join their expanding team.

The client offer the provision of a high quality bespoke pensions administration service for all types of trust based occupational pension schemes including Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution, Hybrid, CARE and AVC. The service provided spans the full range of pension administration activities including for example, new scheme implementations, annual renewal and benefit statement production, individual and bulk member calculations and payments, stewardship reporting, production of data for use by other scheme advisers, controlling and processing bulk periodic processes, implementing legislative change, creating member documentation and hand over of details to new providers. The service focus is on the attainment of high quality, accuracy and time standards fully compliant with legislative requirements and the Rules governing each of the individual schemes. To contribute to the profitability of the clients business by identifying and capitalising on opportunities with every client to generate additional fees for work requested and carried out outside of the standard fee agreement.

Within all administration teams the focus is on the attainment of high quality, accurate and timely standards, fully compliant with legislative requirements and the policy conditions or rules governing each of the products or schemes. The jobholder will carry out the full range of administrative tasks within their team, as required for the specific products or schemes. They will assist the Team Manager with work prioritisation. In addition, the individual will supervise and check the work of peers and other administrative staff, assisting the Team Manager with the coaching and development of team members.

In addition to the main administration support, the jobholder will contribute to the profitability of the clients business by identifying and capitalising on commercial opportunities to generate additional fees for work requested and carried out outside of the standard agreements in place (or confirm that the work cannot take place within the current agreement).

The jobholder will attend meetings internally and may attend meetings externally representing their own service area or the clients, either on own or supported by a more senior member of staff.

They may also deputise for the Team Manager.

The jobholder will be in regular contact with our clients (internal and external), and other appointed professional advisers to the scheme. Good performance in this role will enable service delivery to meet expected targets and enhance reputation with clients and other external parties. Business goals and targets will be met and teams will develop to take on additional clients and activities.

Responsible for completion of own work allocated in relation to a particular range of client pension or product arrangements. The jobholder requires minimal supervision, and needs to plan own and (when delegated) team’s daily/weekly actions to ensure that work is completed within agreed timescales.
