Person Specification for SEBD East Teacher
The right candidate will be an experienced SEBD Maths Teacher who has worked with SEBD pupils before or a Maths Teacher with 1 year teaching experience wishing to make a transition into SEBD teaching. As the new SEBD Maths Teacher you will have the drive to manage behaviour well in class and design lesson interesting, interactive and challenging lessons for the group at hand. The school wants to see a SEBD Maths Teacher who has the motivational skills to get the best out of those around them, staff and pupils alike. The ideal individual should be able to give insight into all the content on the curriculum with even the most recent changes.

This PRU is part of the exclusion service which means the students have been permanent excluded, refused to go to school, failed to get a school place or put themselves at risk of exclusion due to their associated Social, Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties. This PRU is found in South East London and is accessible from the London Underground (the closest station is just under 15 minutes’ walk away) and is services by very good local bus links. It promises a proactive, positive atmosphere and has an impressive provision for aiding the development of its numerous SEBD students.
About the Role of SEBD Maths Teacher
As a SEBD Maths Teacher you will include enjoying the talents of an aspiring teacher who will be providing you with in class support as Primary Teaching Assistant. Under the Maths Department's inclusive policy, your classroom practice will be expected to be fair and accessible for all students. You will have the responsibility of enhancing the learning experience of your pupils through the use of the department's central resource library.
