An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Transactional Processing Manager to join a reputable business based on the outskirts in Chester.

Client Details

A global travel company serving over 200,000 customers every day has a fantastic opportunity for a Transactional Processing Manager to oversee and develop the finance processing function within the business and delivering excellent customer service and support to the business operations.

Description

The role of Transactional Processing Manager will include:

  • Management of the accounts payable and receivable ledgers, as well as payroll
  • Controlling and directing the financial processing operations in a timely and efficient manner
  • Accounts receivable - ensuring appropriate credit insurance is in place as well as highlighting potential concerns in timely order to allow for appropriate action
  • Accounts payable - full responsibility ensuring timely reconciliations
  • Management of month end close for ledgers
  • Develop and maintain effective financial information systems and developing and reviewing internal controls
  • Project management of new system implementations
  • Dealing with requests from operations and corporate reporting
  • Responsible for recruitment, training, coaching and developing the team
  • Producing weekly and monthly reports on performance, KPIs etc

Profile

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Experience working in a high volume transactional environment
  • Able to work at a fast pace, with strong organisational skills
  • Experience of managing large teams with demonstrable experience of developing people
  • Excellent people skills and able to build credibility within the team and across the wider business
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to manage and implement robust internal controls
