We are currently recruiting on behalf of a corporate, established and growing finance client who is based in central Bracknell. As a Credit Assistant, you will be working as part of the Credit team and full training will be given, so previous experience is not necessary. You would need to be good with numbers with an eye for detail and a desire to pursue a career in Finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • To maintain credit logs and ad hoc reports
  • Prepare credit proposals for Underwriter review
  • Collate and investigate data from external credit agencies
  • Maintenance of know your customer and ownership reporting tools
    • Validating UBO of approved deals
    • Reviewing KYC - address validations as part of the fraud aspect of the position
  • To prepare investigative reports on potential or suspected fraudulent applications

Candidate Requirements

  • Graduate with a qualification in Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting
  • Excellent numerical, IT skills as well as a high attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong interest in Finance / Credit Management
  • Good organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Problem solving and decision making
  • Underwriting skills

  • Permanent Role
  • Hours 9am-5.30pm
  • Free Parking/Pension/Private Health Care
