Job Title: Senior Portfolio Onboarding Analyst
Location: Leeds
Salary: £28,000 to £31,000 dependent on experience + 3% flexible benefits + on target bonus of 5% + contributory pension

We’re now looking for a Senior Portfolio Onboarding Analyst to join our growing team.

You’ll be responsible for:
• Owning and leading the transition of data for new purchased debt portfolio acquisitions.
• Diligently conducting analysis and data mapping of purchased portfolios and existing acquisitions.
• Co-ordinating with stakeholders (Sales; Pricing; Ops) and external Clients to gain the best possible data file for each portfolio whilst driving data integrity up in order to reduce disputes and associated complaints downstream.
• Presenting data integrity meetings, as part of the Portfolio Onboarding process to senior management and stakeholders (Exec/Leadership Team members).
• Identifying and delivering opportunities to optimize and continuously improve the Onboarding process, SAS suite and BookOn infrastructure.
• Supporting the wider business as a source of expertise regarding Onboarding data, mappings and all associated Recourse, Append and Pre Cleanse process and code.
• Work with management to design and implement management information (MI) for BookOn to monitor the tracking and progress of Portfolios.
• Review and validate the content and quality of data files provided prior to onboarding, from clients, Acquisitions, and Pricing.

You’ll need to evidence the following qualifications, skills and experience:
• Essential: 3 years minimum experience with data manipulation & SAS (ideally SAS certified).
• Desirable: 2 years in a role within Lowell.
• Understanding of the different clients within Lowell and how they operate in order to enable the identification of issues.
• Good analytical skills to recognise issues and the knowledge to identify and recommend the correct course of action.
• Keen commercial understanding.
• Stakeholder management.
• Team Player who is dedicated to achieving the team and business goals.
• Proven attention to detail, preferably in a previous analytical role
• Demonstrable investigative & logical thinking capability, when analysing reports
• Strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & SAS (SQL desirable).
• Effective presentation skills (relating to reports/data produced).
• Competent working with large data sets.
• Experience of portfolio onboarding, and translating complex datasets into Lowell business interpretation.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Data analytical skills are essential, with high attention to detail within data configurations.
• Understanding of pricing and downstream host systems (typically but not exclusively to caseflow).
• Delivering high quality work, at high volumes, under pressure.
• Proven ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines.
• Strong logical and investigative skills.
• Self-motivated and with high levels of autonomy.
• Essential: Strong SAS skills and SQL desirable.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Effective communicator to translate the complex data to less data able stakeholders.
