The job in a nutshell

This is a very exciting time to join CarShop. We are recruiting a number of Customer Service Agents throughout our business to make sure we are investing in the future talent of CarShop and providing a World Class Customer Service. 

Paul Parks is the Service Manager and looks after the whole of CarShop Service Department in Cardiff. Paul is also quite new to our business and he is very keen on making Cardiff Service Centre stand out from all of our other stores. Paul invests heavily in his team, in terms of his own time, as well as training and development: he knows his people are his best asset! It just goes to show that you can work and enjoy yourself at the same time

Your job is to provide an outstanding and customer orientated service through making outbound calls to existing customers of CarShop, explaining the benefits of booking their car in for service, MOT or maintenance work and advising them about the CarShop Service Plans. You will also be responsible for working towards your own individual targets and maximizing all leads.

The rest of your role will involve you learning all parts of the business: sales, service and customer experience. We will teach you all the skills you need so that you will be capable of understanding and demonstrating our customer journey.

Well the world is your oyster at CarShop. As long as you do a great job, CarShop will invest in your learning, development and job progression. The natural path for you would probably be to Service Advisor then perhaps you may even want to try customer Experience of Sales. We can discuss that throughout your journey with us.

What we think good looks like

As with most jobs at CarShop we would like you to have an interest and passion in what we do. You must have a can-do attitude and a passion for cars and be willing to take your driving test to obtain a full UK/EU Driving Licence within 6 months. Flexibility will also be important and you will need to be self-motivated and driven to get through your apprenticeship. If you have the right attitude we will teach you the rest.
