The School:
Our Client is an excellent co-educational Prep School, providing education for 3-13 year old children. The school has excellent facilities, as well as children who enjoy learning and very well resourced laboratories. Although the position is ideally to due to commence in September 2017, for an exceptional candidate, the school are open to looking at a January 2018 start date.
The Role:
Looking for a fantastic scientist, with a real enthusiasm for teaching high calibre Science. You will have the ability to motivate and encourage younger children to gain a sound understanding of the basic principles of Science through good curriculum planning. You will be managing the Science department, which is a key department of the school. The package on offer includes gym membership, free staff lunches and very good working conditions,

The Successful Candidate:
Essential:
*a good degree in Science
*strong knowledge & experience of Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 Science curriculum
*thorough knowledge of Common Entrance and scholarship exams 11+ and 13+
*ability to adopt and deliver a variety of teaching and learning styles
*QTS
*successful teaching experience across the ability and age range
*ability and confidence to teach high-achieving students and support less able students
