Supported Living Service Manager Lowestoft
We have an exciting opportunity at Mencap for a Service Manager to work at one of our supported living services in Lowestoft. This is a key role in guaranteeing the quality of our service delivery and ensuring that our services are always improving. The role requires that you have previous experience of managing staff, organising rotas, managing budgets, and that you also have good IT skills.
We require someone who loves a challenge, is creative, has a passion for positive change and has the confidence to make difficult decisions under pressure. You will be self-motivated and determined to achieve the best outcomes for people we support with a learning disability. You will achieve this through leading and motivating a dedicated team of diverse support workers to ensure and maintain the delivery of high quality support. We have recently been rated as `Good` by CQC and our aim is to build on this in the coming year working towards achieving `Outstanding`. The successful applicant will need to be confident in communicating with people we support, staff, family members and partner agencies.
You must have management experience working within the social care sector and be willing to work towards or have completed a Health and Social Care Diploma level 5.
This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and a full clean driving licence as the use of a car for work is essential.
