Hamlin Knight is working alongside a market leading Professional Services business in the recruitment of a Legal Administrator/ caseworker. This role is based in Sheffield and has good access links from all surrounding areas of Sheffield including Rotherham, Doncaster, Dronfield and Chesterfield.

Due to continued growth, my client is looking to recruit experienced Legal Administrators/ caseworkers for its busy site based in Sheffield. You will be reporting into the Legal Director with the ultimate aim of the role being to provide excellent client support on a variety of cases. This role would suit a candidate who has experience within a professional services environment and who has exceptional administrative skills and who can work to tight deadlines with excellent time-management skills.

The Job:
This is a very specific role which will see you providing the practical and day to day administrative services for clients who require assistance in managing their financial affairs.

*Managing own caseload and providing day to day advice, support and administration services to clients.
*Maintaining computerised and paper trust records systems and files.
*Managing trust assets including property, investments and cash (held in external bank accounts).
*Making payments on behalf of clients, monitoring budgets and liaising with financial advisors in this regard.
*Liaising with clients, their families, professionals involved in their cases and colleagues.
*Preparing for, arranging and following up from meetings (with opportunities to attend meetings, with support as necessary).
*Reviewing files regularly to maintain a high standard of care and support to clients. Preparing bills and advising clients of ongoing costs.
*Preparing cash reconciliation statements.
*Collating information for an annual tax review of clients' tax affairs, arranging payments of tax where appropriate.
*Keeping abreast of changes in legislation, Court of Protection procedures and other regulatory aspects by attending training provided.

The Package:
*£17-19k Salary (DOE)
*40hrs per week
