A global IT & Technology consultancy are looking for a Facilities Manager to be based their Cambridge HQ paying up to £45k + package
The FM department is in place to provide a high quality environment for our colleagues, contractors and visitors. As the Facilities Manager you are required take resonsibility to ensure the site is compliant on all levels and that all of the services both internal and external are run efficiently and effectively in order to provide the highest level of service possible.
The FM will be expected to deliver monthly reporting based on the Facilities Support Service desk, M&E, Energy and Environment and H&S for their site and will be expected to achieve the agreed SLA’s for the business. The FM will be expected to run multiple projects and work to improve the facility and raise the standard of service delivered to the business both by the facility and the team. The FM is expected to develop the tem and the service to suit the requirements of the business, the Real Estate function and to provide best in show services at all times.
·The candidates will need demonstrable experience (at least 5 years) of working with hard services/M&E, ability to show a basic understanding of HVAC, Electrical systems, PPM and be able to provide effective control/management of such systems without needing to be an Engineer.
·The successful candidate should be confident and able to communicate effectively to all levels within the business managing expectations and relationships at all levels within the business.
·Significant and demonstrable experience of managing and delivering high end client facing premises
·Demonstrable experience (at least 5 years) of high value 3rd party contract/service provider management including hospitality, catering, cleaning, grounds, M&E etc.
·An in depth understanding of H&S compliance and risk management with a NEBOSH or equivalent level H&S qualification. Experience of BS OHSAS 18001 and/or HSG 65 necessary
·Energy and Environmental experience – ISO14001, Carbon Trust Standard, IEMA or equivalent level E&E qualification.
·Experience of working with a broader range of industry recognised management systems such as 27001 or 9001.
·Experience of working in multi tenanted buildings, working with building management providers and service charges.
·Demonstrable project management experience.
·Experience of high volume relocation management.
·Experience of space planning, space efficiency and change management.
·Line Management experience.
·They should display great attention to detail and take pride in the service/premises they manage and deliver.
