Food and Beverage Manager - Permanent - Immediate

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to work for a client of mine based in the Denham area to work on an immediate and permanent basis with interviews available as soon possible.

Key areas of responsibility:

- To act as F & B Manager within all Food and Beverage operations
- To act as Deputy Manager as required
- To ensure the effective and efficient management and delivery of all Bar, Restaurant, Conference & Function F & B activities
- To ensure the use of club procedures (staff hand book, operations manual) by all team members within the department
- To be able to work in and cover any F & B department
- To be responsible for all new staff joining the F & B team, collecting the correct information for the payroll department, ensuring all the new staff has a swipe card ready for their first day
- Stock Control and budgets/ Tills/General/ Hospitality and Service/ Attention to detail/ Business Awareness and up-selling/ Communication/Health and safety/ planning and organisation

- Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and profit
- A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance
- Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with club members and senior managers. Reliable, tolerant, and determined
- Empathic communicator, able to see things from other person's point of view. Well presented and businesslike
- Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability. Able to get on with others and be a team-player

- Must be able to commute easily to the location
- Able to work over a 7-day period with extended hours on occasions when required
- Able to commute and motivate via written media. Appreciate the need for consistency within company's branding and marketing mix, especially PR and the Internet
- Computer skills: Must be adept in use of clubs EPS system, MS Office 2000 or later, Excel and Word, Internet and email

Literacy and Numeracy:
- Able to understand company software EPS and basic business finance. E.g cashing up etc

Business and Selling Skills:
- Must be an excellent face-to-face communicator. Ideal background would include experience of hotels, restaurant and bars. Experience of stock control would be useful

Management Ability:
- Excellent people-management skills with the ability to lead a team and motivate staff
