We’re looking for an experienced, reliable and motivated Day Service Manager to join our professional team at our brand new Centre in Selly Oak, Birmingham. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of something truly special as we establish 'Base Camp’, Sense’s new service within TouchBase Pears.

As Day Service Manager you will provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people who find it difficult to communicate and connect with the world, especially those with sensory impairments. You will effectively manage a team to deliver person centred, specialist services that meet organisational standards and expectations. To begin with your direct reports will be an Activity Coordinator and a small team of Support Workers; your team will grow as the service develops.

In order to support Sense’s commitment to high quality, accountable services, you will need to be aware of the expectations of the Health and Social Care Act 2015 and to develop an understanding of Senses’ Quality Assurance system. You may be required, to be registered with the relevant external agencies and maintain compliance.
