A global and industry leading Aerospace design and manufacturing business seek to appoint a subcontracts programme procurement manager with specific technical manufacturing sub contracts management experience.

This is a subcontracts programme procurement manager opportunity which will see the successful candidate based in the UK HQ of a global manufacturing business and involved in subcontract management projects and specifically technical sub contracts supplier procurement, relationship building and project management on a pan EMEA basis.

Reporting directly to the Head of Supply Chain and Head of Programme management for this large scale aerospace manufacturer this role will require specific and in-depth subcontracts implementation and management. This will need to have been gained from both a procurement / supply chain and programme management perspective from within the aerospace / automotive / defence or similar manufacturing environment with a diverse experience of direct technical sub contract manufacturing contracts experience inclusive of full negotiation and in-depth t&c's review and implementation.

A role which will allow full end to end subcontracts ownership and diverse scope at a senior strategic level while still be hands on a ground level sub contracts supplier sourcing audit and relationship and project timeline management with engagement from internal technical stakeholders.

Location - Fareham, Hampshire

Salary - £55000 - £60000+ benefits

Roles and responsibilities of the subcontract procurement manager -

Ensuring the sourcing strategy is in place in line with corporate guidelines
Managing subcontractors on the project, ensuring smooth flow of customer requirements through the supply chain
Managing subcontract negotiations according to the legal guidelines and company standards, followed by regular reviews
Liaising closely with different parts of the supply chain in preparations for the new contract
