The Company

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a successful Field Marketing Agency in Thame, working on their most prestigious client who are a leading brand in the confectionery market. This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Maternity Cover Contract but an excellent foot in the door.

The Role

Key duties are the management of the Account’s Field Recruitment process, ensuring SLAs are met in field, Recruitment and Ops and conducting face to face first interviews for all Field Management positions. In addition, the role is responsible for the delivery of all tactical activity for the account.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that SLAs are met in terms of field recruitment
  • Conducting face to face first interviews for Field Executive and Field Management positions, shortlisting candidates for assessment centre
  • Facilitating assessment centres for final stage of Field Executive and Field Management recruitment
  • Account Management of all tactical activities
  • Utilising internal resource effectively, ensuring that requirements are clearly briefed, achievable timescales are agreed and adhered to and quality checking all outputs to ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded
  • Ensuring that all tactical personnel achieve the required levels of performance on each activity, identifying any issues and taking appropriate action where necessary
  • Reviewing and preparing results analysis at the end of each activity: using this analysis to improve field performance and to make strategic recommendations on the long term development of our tactical activities
  • Achieving revenue and GP target on each activity

About You

  • Previous client relationship management experience
  • Extensive knowledge of the relevant UK markets: Grocery, Symbols/Independents/Convenience
  • Previous experience of working with a field sales team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to communicate at all levels face-to-face, by telephone and in writing
  • Able to express ideas and views persuasively, clearly and concisely
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Adaptable to the needs and requirements of the business and its clients
  • Able to work to deadlines, under pressure and to prioritise effectively
  • Computer literate across all Microsoft packages
  • Lives within commutable distance to Thame in Oxfordshire (head office based role)
  • Desirable: Previous Account Management experience or previous Field Sales Management (second line) experience
