Major Donor Officer (Partnerships Fundraising)

Our client is a charity offering information and support to everyone affected by arthritis. They provide a number of online and face to face services to ensure that no one faces arthritis alone. 

Position: Partnership Fundraising Executive 
Location: Old Street, London 
Contract type: Permanent 
Hours: 35 hours per week 
Salary: £31,000 per annum 
Benefits: 27 days’ annual leave, plus bank holidays; contributory pension scheme 

About the role: 

As part of the Partnerships Fundraising team you will develop and manage high value relationships. Our client's supporters and funders are at the heart of what they do and achieve - it’s their generosity which enables them to run our helpline and deliver innovative self-management services. 

Engaging high value individuals is relatively new to our client, but they do now have a small portfolio of supporters who require excellent relationship management to engage them more deeply as well as identifying, exploring and engaging their networks. This is the first time in recent years that our cleint has invested in a high value fundraiser, and their experience/skills will be a very welcome contribution to the team. 

About you: 

The successful candidate will need experience of identifying, developing and managing high value client relationships. Ideally, you’d have some exposure to the charity and non-profit sectors, but they'd welcome applications from any candidates who can demonstrate a track record of success in client relationship management, business development or key accounts roles. 

Whatever your background, highly developed personal skills and the ability to prioritise your work are key to success in this role. They’re looking for candidates who are flexible, reliable and adaptable to the needs of a growing organisation and they will support the successful candidate with a great learning and development plan. 

You may have experience of the following: Fundraising Executive, Partnership Fundraising Executive, Charity, Charities, Third Sector, Fundraising, Donor Management, IOF, Supporter Care, High Value Fundraising, Business Development, Account Management, Key Accounts, Customer Relationship Management, etc.
