Due to the current and predicted growth our client is creating their own inhouse telemarketing department to support the sales and marketing departments. We are looking for someone to take on the challenge and manage the new department with 5 direct reports.
For over 24 years they have been providing software solutions to thousands of customers such as the UK NHS, Virgin, PwC, Emirates, Heineken. With over 3000 organisations already using their products they want to continue their rapid expansion and are seeking a Telemarketing Manager.
You will be responsible for overseeing the daily running of the telemarketing department and increase the contact database to support the marketing and sales functions. Your team will gather contact information for relevant prospects, follow up with people consuming content on the website and marketing campaigns and carry out initial qualification to identify opportunities for the sales team.
They will provide continuous sales and management training, coaching and mentoring and an opportunity and environment to grow and develop to be the best. Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Coaching, inspiring and motivating the team
- Ensuring the team meets the targets
- Sales training, development, and performance management
- Disciplined use of CRM system
- Managing KPI’s and regular reporting to management
- Ability to identify areas for process improvement
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Proven experience in a Telesales environment
- Experience managing a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks at any given time
