FM - Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Director - London
Salary up to £65,000

The full range of facilities management services include soft services like cleaning to high-end specialist services like workplace management and unique services like Critical Systems Engineering Building Operations, Support Service.
Providing facilities management services to corporate occupiers, owners and developers of real estate. The clients include some of the world's most respected blue chip and home-grown companies.
This role involves overseeing all aspects of Safety, Environment and Quality management and, in particular, leading the development of our safety practices and procedures and to ensure full communication and implementation across the business. Working closely with the senior management team, the focus of this position is to shape, agree and implement strategic direction for QUESH within UK. Provide assurance that risk is effectively managed through delivery of operational excellence in conjunction with an equally excellent approach to safety, reliability, and consistency.

-Reviewing all Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (QUESH) related strategies, policies and procedures, risk assessments and safe working practices
-Inspire and advise company personnel, contractors and suppliers on QUESH matters to ensure compliance
-Provide support and guidance on QUESH matters throughout the business
-Ensure that an audit and mentoring regime is devised, implemented and effectively provides the focus for verification of QUESH policies, processes and procedures
-Conduct Internal Audits
-Via self-training and role development, ensure Company Compliance to all Legal and Mandatory training requirements.
-Monitoring, measurement and recording of QUESH objectives and KPI's
-Compile monthly QUESH reports to Directors, Senior and Middle Managers.
-Partner with leaders to continuously improve QUESH culture, awareness and accountability systems.
-Assist in making QUESH a competitive differentiator for in the marketplace.
-Lead communication and investigation of incidents (accidents, near misses, regulatory inspections, etc.) with a focus on proactive and preventive measures to reduce recurrence (e.g.: root cause corrective action analysis and corrective action execution).
-Improve the process for executing and reporting of safety observations, unsafe behaviours and near misses to drive behaviours and HSE culture.
-Assure successful and consistent HSE program deployment
-Champion regulatory compliance and legal and other requirements and where Sites are not achieving goals and objectives in these areas, structure activities, projects, plans and initiatives to recover
-Develop and deploy QUESH procedures, training, internal and external communications in alignment with Corporate, business and regulatory requirements.
-Work closely with leaders to measure and communicate QUESH performance
Essential
&__61656;Membership of the Institution of Occupational safety and Health (CMIOSH) or GradIOSH
&__61656;Decisive decision maker who promptly deals with issues.
&__61656;Ability to grasp technical QUESH issues and risks and turn into action plans.
&__61656;Solid level of Business Acumen, able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the integrated relationships across the QUESH function and business.

Desirable

&__61656;Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health
&__61656;Engaged in a CPD Programme working towards chartered status or specialisms related to Occupational Health and Safety knowledge, skills or experience that are beneficial to the company
&__61656;Qualified to HND/HNC level in an electrical or mechanical technical discipline, or have a proven track record. (Minimum 5 years)
&__61656;Good knowledge of SFG20, JSP375
&__61656;Controlling safe systems of work process for Electrical Installations, Mechanical System and Petroleum Installations
&__61656;Knowledge of Dangerous Goods.
