Leading the way in the provision of static control and hazardous area safety my client offers a wide range of both patented products and safety solutions. Operating globally, from its offices in Nottingham, a recent international buyout has seen significant growth in both demand and therefore human resources, across its network in the UK, Germany and Singapore.

This continued growth now sees the business looking to expand its’ Marketing Function, with the addition of an experienced Marketing Manager.

Based its Nottingham, you’ll will be responsible for leading the Marketing function; marketing communications, lead generation and CRM management, brand and campaign management, all with the focus of strengthening the global brand. And, whilst there’s no such thing as a ‘typical day’ ,you’ll find yourself... 

• Managing a small marketing team
• Managing relationships with 3rd party agencies
• Developing an existing suite of websites to attract interest from French, Spanish and Chinese speaking markets
• Improving existing 3rd party marketing communications programs to develop and grow opportunities across French, Spanish and Chinese speaking markets
• Managing the release and circulation of editorial content (e.g. whitepapers / technical articles/ case studies)
• Increasing communications via online modes of commination including webinars, online placement of company, application and product focused presentations
• Managing the delivery and placement of audio visual material (e.g. video demos of products / animations of products and applications)
• Co-ordinating total lead management right through from lead capture through to closed won/lost CRM administration, including accurate monitoring of quotes in the CRM system
• Reviewing and selecting suitable exhibitions
• Exploring and securing presentation opportunities at tradeshows, conferences and exhibitions
• Managing internal communications
• Working with the Product Manager, leading the internal/external communications of new product launches and the creation/management of product literature

Of course, an (electrical) engineering background would be ideal, but not essential. You’ll have an aptitude for all things technical and a willingness to learn all there is to know about the product range. Be prepared, it maybe difficult at first to get to grips with the mechanics of what the business does, but with comprehensive internal product training, and ongoing support, so long as you have grit and determination to succeed, and a genuine passion and enthusiasm for driving the business forward through creative and well co-ordinated marketing, you’ll thrive!

You’ll also need to have / be:
• Minimum 2:1 honours degree (or equivalent) in Marketing or Engineering / Science
• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing a marketing team
• Chartered Marketer or en route to chartered status
• Experience of digital marketing / SEO in a B2B / industrial marketing environment
• Original content creation experience
• Experience of branding development in a B2B / industrial marketing environment
• Able to grasp the concept and promote company’s value proposition
• Experience of managing the delivery of audio visual material ranging from face-to-camera videos to 3D product/application animations
• Managed marketing communications programs through various media including web, social media, third party publishers (online & print)
