Script Writer and UAT Tester - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Salary circa £22,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

An exciting new opportunity has become available for a Script Writer and UAT Tester within PRS for Music to join us for 12 months.
The Script Writer and UAT Tester will be responsible for assisting Programme "Green" with the user acceptance testing and implementation of a new Salesforce.com system in preparation for the PRS/PPL Joint Venture. You will be working alongside the UAT Test Manager producing and executing UAT test scripts.
In this role, the successful candidate will gain an all-round and in depth knowledge of the Salesforce system by undertaking training and participating in workshops. Alongside this, you will be required to write detailed and comprehensive test scripts, execute test scripts, to ensure a robust system is delivered to the business and report, raise and track any defects found to the Test Manager via the online tool, Jira. Therefore, we expect applicants to have a basic knowledge of writing and testing business process scenarios, and a knowledge of Salesforce and Jira is preferable but not essential.
The Script Writer and UAT Tester must have the ability to work independently as well as within a team, as the role will involve working closely with IT developers, other members of the test team and external consultants for the purpose of delivering the solution on time and in full to tight deadlines. When called upon, you will re-test defects to ensure the solution provided is sound and correct and complete all round regression and end to end testing, ensuring that the system flows and is fit for purpose for the end user.
The successful candidate will have a good attention to detail and be self-motivated, proactive and focused. PRS for Music is looking for a candidate who also possesses good written and verbal communication and a good knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
