Commercially, you will have demonstrated a high level of experience

identifying and closing key client opportunities. You will have had experience in

taking digital media products to market, evangelising to key decision makers,

and being a results-oriented hands-on "sales hunter" who excels at bringing in

new business. You will manage key clients through day-to-day contact, seek

opportunities to grow relationships, manage various sales initiatives around

my Client's products and ensure that clients consistently receive

superior customer service.

Operationally, you will have demonstrated superior capability in successfully

highlighting, engaging with and closing new sales opportunities. You will be

highly experienced in objection handling, management of an agency patch,

sales pipeline and day-to-day sales activities. The right candidate will have a

thorough knowledge of the digital ecosystem in order to understand the

competitive landscape, a thorough understanding of technologies such as

DMP’s, DSP’s, SSP’s, RTB, trading desks, ad exchanges, and performance based

audience targeting.


  • Identify and acquire sales opportunities
  • Maximize revenue growth with advertising agencies, insuring a broad and regular market coverage
  • Prospect, evaluate and identify important business opportunities
  • Engage with agency decision makers at all levels
  • Sales presentations to large groups with varying degrees of seniority
  • Develop winning selling strategies and proposals, adjusting sales tactics depending on needs
  • Together with sales execs plan, prepare and execute high impact meetings with prospects and clients
  • Develop and implement tactical sales initiatives in coordination with the marketing team
  • Work closely with account management to provide superior performance and customer service, and grow repeat business
  • Contribute to a culture focused on performance, positive thinking and active collaboration with the rest of the company

Key skills/experience:

  • Minimum 3 years progressive experience in digital ad sales
  • Demonstrated capability to deliver revenue over and above target
  • In-depth knowledge and contacts with UK media agencies
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, technologies and pricing models
  • Excellent understanding of agency dynamics, campaign planning and buying
  • Strong knowledge of ad campaign, technology, metrics and analysis
  • Superior skills in all facets of the sales cycle including prospection, negotiation and the ability to sell based on value rather than price
  • Understanding of audience profiles, online ad targeting and campaign optimization
  • Understanding of the mobile ad tech ecosystem
  • Proven communication, presentation and sales skills with a knack for consultative selling
  • BA/BS or equivalent required
