Business Development Executive - Paid Internship - Music Agency
Our client has established a reputation as a serious player in the composer agency field on both sides of the Atlantic. Its' clients include the BBC, Sesame Workshop, ITV and Disney.
This is a 3 month internship offering NMW with the potential to convert to a permanent job.
How can you expect to spend you day?
Working alongside the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the development of new business to complement our existing television successes. You’ll pro-actively search out television and film leads and procure scoring opportunities within the TV and film industry.
Specifically, this will involve devising a suitable list of targets and cold calling producers and production companies daily to arrange meetings between you, them and our composers.
What are the ideal intern’s personality and qualifications?
To be successful in this role, you will be business minded, recently educated to degree level in media studies, business, marketing or music. You will have a general understanding of the world of broadcast media and an appreciation of film music.
Previous experience in a sales role is a bonus, although not essential.
