My client provides design, installation and maintenance solutions to the Commercial, Retail, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics and Education sectors, whilst also working in partnership with many Facilities Management companies. Set up in 1993 to maintain the lighting systems in retail and commercial premises they have been responsible for many of the service related developments in the retail industry, and have a continually growing reputation for service excellence. Clients include Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury's, Barclays, Iceland, BHS, TK Maxx, Mothercare, New Look, as well as Hospitals and Commercial buildings across the UK. They have recently completed a £300,000 project at Cardiff Airport.

Due to the amount of new business they have won over the past 12 months the company are now looking for some more experienced electricians to join their team.

Personal Requirements

- 17th Edition Qualified
- IEE 17th Edition Regulations
- City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 qualification or equivalent
- IPAF / MEWP licence desirable, but not essential
- ECS / CSCS card
- Full driving licence
- Able to work at heights of up to 3 metres and lift weights of up to 25kg

Duties of the role:

- To carry out all lighting and electrical maintenance as well as other electrical works
- To undertake electrical repairs and installations as appropriate
- Conduct electrical testing such as fixed wiring testing and remedial works, emergency lighting, fire alarm and PAT testing

Salary is up to £26,000, plus overtime (realistically allowing additional earnings of £4,500 on average) company van, fuel card, 23 days holiday + bank holidays, pension (2% contributory) & £200 per day for being on stand-by (paid at time & a half if called out).
