SF Group are currently looking for a Business Development Manager - Digital Media for my industry leading client based in Birmingham.

This position is in place to continue to improve market share for the business in their sector.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Understand their needs and requirements
  • Initiate and manage programmes of lead generation leading to the identification of key targets
  • Pro-actively contact companies
  • Prepare regular reports relating to all activity
  • Provide regular management information that will assist with the performance measurement of the business development activity
  • Regularly review and evaluate all stakeholder activity
  • Effectively account manage key stakeholders ensuring that their expectations are delivered and communicated in a professional manner
  • Contribute and input into the marketing strategy
  • Maintaining, overseeing and regularly updating the CRM system
  • Collaborate with other sister business to generate leads
  • Networking Events

The ideal person will be/have:

  • Experience within a business development or strategic sales (B2B) environment preferably within ITEC or Digital Media
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, communication, networking and relationship skills together with demonstrable experience in pitching to decision makers of large blue chip companies
  • A proven track record in acquiring new business and achieving targets, as well as experience in managing numerous and diverse projects
  • Experience and understanding of complex stakeholder relationship building and managing
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively and maintain key relationships up to board level
  • Target and results driven
  • Distinctive skills in analysis and problem solving and impeccable business judgement
  • Highly organised, with good time management skills
  • First class communication & presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial drive
  • Good time manager
  • Able to build long term client relationships
  • Knowledge of up to date sales channels and techniques
  • Full, clean driving licence
