Paraplanner - Southport - up to £40,000
This is a unique paraplanning opportunity and one which will have you working with High Net Worth Clients.
Our client is a well established Chartered Wealth Management firm who have built success through long term relationships. They are seeking to take on a paraplanner for their Southport office due to growth.
Collate all relevant client information and undertake a full analysis of the clients’ current financial situation, creating a cash flow model and using other appropriate tools. Ensure accurate recording of client information on back office systems.
Construct appropriate financial planning solutions and produce computer model and reports as required. This will cover the main areas of investment planning, retirement planning, tax planning and estate planning.
Prepare recommendation letters / reports as required, ensure the relevant administrators complete all associated administration and take full overall responsibility for the client file and back office IT records both before, during and after the advice process is complete.
Take responsibility for the preparation of client reviews, updating the client’s cash flow model, reviewing investment performance and producing supporting reports / discussion documents / computer models as required. Ensure agreed follow up action is implemented and client file is updated accordingly.
Assist the partners with the development and maintenance of business relationships with clients. This will include (but is not limited to) speaking to clients on the telephone, corresponding directly with clients via letter, fax or email and attending client meetings with advisers as instructed, to assist with the production of meeting notes.
Liaise with administration staff to ensure that all application and provider forms are prepared as required and that all clients are regularly contacted throughout the advice process, such that all advice given is followedup and concluded in a timely manner.
Liaise with client’s other professional advisers, such as solicitors and accountants, to co-ordinate any agreed action plan
Paraplanner must hold a minimum of the Diploma in Financial Planning and aspire to Chartered Financial Planner status.
Have at least four years’ industry experience.
Must have excellent administrative, research, report writing and communication skills.
Must have excellent analytical skills and prefer to work in a structured, planned manner.
