The role of Technical Support is to receive calls and enquiries from potential clients regarding sustainable energy solutions from M&E consultants, contractors, building services, architects and end users with high energy usage looking to reduce their energy costs and or carbon footprint. The technical support internal sales engineer gains an understand of the requirements for the client’s building energy consumption to create an accurate and viable technical proposal; this is done through liaison with internal applications engineers, engineering, service and sales departments. You will manage the process through and hand over to senior sales account managers to follow up. ??
The ideal candidate will hold a degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical, electrical or building services engineering. The successful candidate will have 12 to 18 months experience in a permanent full time role and feel ready to embark on a genuine career path into other technical based roles or account management / business development roles. You must possess a confident, outgoing and enthusiastic personality along with excellent interpersonal skills.
Prospects in this rapidly growing plc are excellent. The role of technical support engineer is a development role which can lead to a wide range of technical based roles or commercially focused account manager / key account roles.
