Finance Business Partner - Revenue - Credit Cards
Our Credit Card business is continuing to disrupt the market, smash targets and win industry awards, but we aren’t done yet. We have big growth plans and we can’t do this without a truly awesome team of talented people to make it happen.
As part of the Commercial Finance team you’ll support the Cards business by providing financial modelling and analysis to the business and finance teams. The role will primarily inform revenue strategy by making sense of the actual and forecast data to understand and optimise performance at both the product, vintage and portfolio level over a 7 year planning horizon. The role will understand the complexities of customer behaviour too, how they may change and be able to meaningfully articulate the impacts of that change. Also, due to the way income is recognised we’ll ask you to manage a sizeable balance sheet position and will be required to minimise the impairment risks associated with it. With exposure to lots of data, with a major bearing on the P&L, we need you to have a strong eye for financial control as well as an appetite to always look for continuous improvement and simplification.
To be brilliant, as a qualified Accountant you’ll have experience of working in a complex commercial finance function within a customer and data rich institution. You’ll love numbers and get a buzz from complex financial analysis applying advanced MS Office skills. With a sound understanding of commercial constructs, product development and financial analysis techniques you’ll be able to deliver advanced, dynamic commercial models. You’ll have the ability to think strategically with a love for discovering what you don’t know. We like to keep things simple so you’ll need to be able to convey complex technical issues in a straightforward and transparent manner.
If you are looking for a really exciting, unique opportunity with the chance to learn with a super talented team then this could be for you!
It will be hard work but we promise you’ll have great fun.
