We're looking for a bright and ambitious Digital Marketing Executive to join our IT Recruitment Agency. This is a new role and we need to find someone who is bright, ambitious, dedicated and ready to grasp an opportunity and make this job their own.

The right person could be fresh out of University and looking for that first chance or someone with some marketing experience looking for the next challenge. The thing that is important to us is to find someone who is creative, enthusiastic and ambitious.

Typically, the digital marketing executive will:

  • Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns
  • Implement a social media strategy
  • Manage and maintain our websites
  • Create digital assets
  • Write and optimise content for the website and social networking accounts such as Facebook and Twitter
  • Track and analyse website traffic flow and provide regular internal reports
  • Attain key performance indicators such as reducing the website bounce rate, increasing dwell time or improving conversion
  • Continually work on the Search Engine Optimisation of the websites
  • Fix any errors or bugs in online content
  • Edit and post videos, podcasts and audio content to online sites
  • Arrange webinars and webcasts
  • Create online banner adverts and oversee pay per click (PPC) ad management
  • Write copy for email marketing campaigns
  • Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the brand is at the forefront of industry developments, particularly developments in mobile marketing
  • Work on printed material to supplement online products
  • Attend product launches and networking events

Essential Skills

  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management/organisational skills
  • Experience of key marketing tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent understanding of using Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Good ability to grasp new applications
  • Ability to analyse data and spot trends
  • Understanding of SEO
  • Digital marketing skills and email campaign management experience
  • Experience of marketing automation tools (hubspot)
  • Minimum of 6 months' commercial experience or a university placement

Desired Qualifications

  • Higher English at A level or excellent proven written communication
  • A Marketing degree and interest or a degree with IT related subjects would be advantageous
