International Sales Adviser - (Internal) Sims

The Independent Schools sales team is responsible for direct sales of SIMS product and service propositions to international schools. Working closely with Marketing, the team is responsible for maximising sales, meeting defined sales targets and developing Capita's reputation as the partner of choice for MIS related products and services in the education sector.

The internal sales team are responsible for prospect lead generation and handling reactive sales enquiries, running campaigns and developing business with existing accounts at all levels.

The role is a based in Cirencester. This role reports to the Sales Manager.

What you will do:

  • Undertake activities to secure appointments, demonstrations and opportunities into customers

  • Work closely with the Sales Managers to retain annual maintenance revenue

  • Target a wide range of international schools across the world to generate new sales opportunities for SIMS software and services

  • Proactive activity to generate revenue from licence and service sales in association with Territory Managers

  • Support the Sales Managers in planning and developing strategies to manage product targets and pipeline

  • New business lead generation and appointment booking are key to this role with the highest performers achieving both high sales and appointment statistics

    Your experience will include:

  • Proven track history of generating leads and hitting targets set

  • Strong verbal communication skills

  • Accurate, clear writing skills

  • Motivated and willing to learn

  • Attention to detail

  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
