Business Development Executive
We have the pleasure of working with a software business in Newcastle upon Tyne, who specialise in providing knowledge and experience in all aspects of business development, leading to the provision of IT infrastructure and business software. A family-run business, they pride themselves on being different and provide well-known products and services, as well as designing software to specifically meet customer requirements.
We have the opportunity for you to join this company in the position of Business Development Executive. Your primary responsibility will encompass promoting the range of products, leading to arranging meetings for consultants and making initial introductions. This will include finding clients and partners by approaching companies over the phone and via email and will also involve attending forums and networking events. Account management is another key aspect of this role, ensuring you manage client expectations and relationships.
This is an exciting time to join the business, as a result of the growth they are experiencing and new products they are in the process of bringing to market. In the long-term, there is also the potential to progress and grow within this role.
To be considered for this role, you must be highly self-motivated and driven. You will also have a desire to learn about products and the ability to learn quickly. In addition, you will be confident in your approach when speaking to new people.
You should have experience in a similar role, whereby you have had a focus on business development. Any finance or systems knowledge/experience would be advantageous, although this is not essential.
The salary on offer for this position is highly competitive for that of a Business Development Executive and also includes a commission structure.
This is a full-time, permanent position, in which you will work from 9am until 5pm. You will also receive mileage expenses and receive a business mobile.
