Sales/ Business Development Manager
Our client, a highly respected kitchen interior designer company in North West London, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to win new commercial business.
As a Business Development Manager, your role would be to win new customers by using a database of joinery companies, fit out contractors and kitchen companies. You will explore live and upcoming projects and get drawings and specifications for the company to quote on.
The company are highly focused on learning. You will learn how to read and interpret architectural drawings. You will also learn about the full technical capabilities of their machinery.
The role will be office based for the majority of the time, with customer visits scheduled for one day every week in London.
Requirements of the Business Development Manager
- At least 2 years proven sales experience, ideally within the kitchen interiors / construction industry
- It will be advantageous if you have experience of dealing with principal contractors
- Educated to A'Level (or equivalent), although this is not essential
- Great organisational skills
In return, our clients offer a base salary of around £25K (flexible dependent upon experience) with OTE of £50K plus excellent company benefits and the opportunity for career progression
