C# Senior Systems Developer - ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server, Agile/TDD, Entity Framework, LINQ, Razor, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery.

Salary: £40-46k + full funding for Microsoft certifications + 10% pension + 25 days holiday.

C# Senior Systems Developer x2 with demonstrable full stack development experience, essentially including knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, required to take up this exciting role in a 'new projects' team with a long established & highly successful organisation based near Bury St Edmunds as they continue to replace their Legacy systems with more modern systems based on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) whilst also creating a series of portals/apps focused on the needs of their business community.

Joining an IT team of 35+ & specifically working within this new team focusing on greenfield development, you can look forward to a challenging & varied role covering the full software development life cycle. Key technologies covered in the role will include: C#, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server, Entity Framework, LINQ, Razor, HTML, CSS, JavaScript & JQuery. Whilst no candidate would be expected to tick every box, a good range of knowledge across these would be anticipated, essentially including demonstrable experience with ASP.NET MVC. Knowledge of Web/MVVM frameworks including Knockout.js, AngularJS & Bootstrap would also add value to your application as would an understanding of design patterns & automated testing using TDD; these are by no means a pre-requisite though. Of key importance is a first class attitude, experience of delivering to challenging deadlines, an ability to communicate well with all levels of staff across the business, including those outside of IT, & ideally a willingness to mentor less experienced developers &/or take a lead on projects.

With my client willing to fully support employees in their pursuit of relevant Microsoft accreditations & with increasing opportunities for career progression as the organisation continues to grow, this really could represent a brilliant career move for the right person. Additional benefits include 25 days holiday, an employer pension contribution of 10% if the employee puts in 5% & a range of other salary sacrifice options.
